Planet Jumper: A Vibe-Coded Three.js Multiplayer Platformer

Hop around a tiny world with strangers in your browser. Hammy's Planet Jumper is a three.js multiplayer demo with spherical gravity, jump tuning that actually feels right, and a backstory worth noting: it was vibe-coded with OpenAI.

What it is

Planet Jumper is a tiny multiplayer game that you can drop into right now, where gravity tugs you toward a small world. Run, sprint, leap into low arcs that hug the curve. It is not a finished game and does not pretend to be.

The author is Ricardo de Zoete, also known as Hammy. The whole thing was vibe-coded with OpenAI on top of three.js, which is the part worth sitting with for a second. Spherical gravity, networked players, jump tuning that doesn't feel awful: these are not trivial systems, and watching a designer with strong instincts compose them via prompts is a fairly honest peek at where this kind of authoring is heading.
